Porsche 911 991 GTS Wheel & Tire Fitment Guide

Do you want more performance out of your 2015-2019 Carrera GTS or Carrera 4 GTS or change up the overall aesthetic of the car with a new set of wheels? Look no further than this Porsche 911 991 GTS Wheel & Tire Fitment Guide. We have the fitment information you need to best suit your needs and use case all while decreasing rotational and unsprung mass. We are shedding this weight with a set of Forged VS-5RS and EC-7RS while increasing wheel width providing even more sidewall support to extract even more performance. Unlock the full potential of your GTS with a set of Apex wheels in a fitment below.

Brake Clearance Information

In the engineering phase of wheel development we 3D scan factory brakes and review 2D aftermarket brake templates in order to optimize our barrel profiles and spoke curvatures. As a result, our wheels offer massive brake clearance so you can run the smallest possible wheel diameter.

* The factory 6 piston 410mm PCCBs require 20" wheels for proper clearance. Read our article for more info.

Rear Axle Steering (RAS) Clearance

All 19" and 20" APEX wheels are optimized to clear rear axle steering (images at bottom of guide).

Rear Wheel Offset

The 991.1 and 991.2 GTS have different rear track widths and therefore have slightly different rear fitment requirements. While a 991.2 can use the 19x12"ET46 rear wheels, it takes additional negative camber to make it fit how we would like. This is especially true with the 325/30-19 that most customers are trying to use in this smaller 19" diameter. For this reason, we suggest running the 19x12"ET63 on a 991.2 GTS for either the 325/30-19 or 315/30-19 rear sizes. This will make the rear fitment easier and require less rear camber. 305/30-19 and 305/30-20 on either of the 19x12"ET46 or 20x12"ET47 is an easier fit with the narrower tire and therefore still an option for a 991.2.

A 991.1 GTS should always run the 19x12"ET46 with its narrower track width compared to the 991.2.
